New poems sharing 新詩共賞 [adapted] - Tony Wong - MapleRipples

It's been a million days since you set me free.
Cut me loose, into the raging sea.
Now, I'm shipwrecked with no hope of return.
Nothing left, but to quietly burn.

You've set sail to new territories.
But you shouldn't forget the memories.
Of love that was first and best and real.
Yet, you blame, as if it was your heart I tried to steal.

So, you cast me away without a care.
And looked on with an icy stare.
A rogue among of your den of thieves.
The one without tricks up his sleeves.

I break against the rocks everyday.
The incessant waves crash without much to say.
I'm shipwrecked and I cannot swim.
And now, you're with him.

I'm shipwrecked and I cannot swim,
